José Octavio Vidal Kneer

Octavio began his career in 1995 as a field representative at automotive plants in Hermosillo, Sonora. After five years building relationships on the plant floor, he formalized that experience into Vidal International Inc. in the year 2000.

His conviction has never changed: suppliers deserve professional, in-person representation — not just remote support from thousands of miles away. That philosophy is the foundation of everything Vidal International does today.

From the Plant Floor to a Trusted Partner

1995

The Beginning

José Octavio Vidal Kneer begins his career as a field representative in the automotive industry in Hermosillo, Sonora. Working directly at OEM assembly plants, he develops an intimate knowledge of supplier quality systems, plant processes, and the critical importance of in-person customer support.

2000

Vidal International Inc. Is Founded

After five years of hands-on plant experience, Octavio formalizes the business and establishes Vidal International Inc. The company is built around a core conviction: suppliers deserve professional, in-person representation — not just remote email and phone support.

2000s
– 2010s

Growth Across Mexico's Automotive Corridor

Vidal International expands its portfolio, serving Ford Cuautitlán, GM Ramos Arizpe, GM Toluca, and Chrysler Toluca. The company builds a track record across multiple product categories including sealing, interiors, metal structures, and electronics.

Present

Four Active OEM Locations

Today, Vidal International actively represents suppliers at Ford Hermosillo, Toyota of Baja California, GM Silao, and Toyota of Guanajuato (TMMGT). Operations are managed through two regional offices led by dedicated operations managers, ensuring consistent, expert coverage.
